About RoamMore

A New Zealand eSIM company that answers its email

RoamMore is run from Auckland by a small team who reply to every message themselves. This page says what we do, how we make our money, and what we will not do.

What we do

RoamMore sells prepaid travel eSIMs for more than 200 countries and regions. The plan finder on the homepage takes your destinations, the length of the trip and how you use data, and shows the cheapest plan in our catalogue that covers the whole trip, as a boarding pass with a link to buy it.

Prices are in US dollars. The plans run on the networks named on each destination page, through a global eSIM partner, and the catalogue is refreshed every week so what you see is what you can buy today.

Who answers

Nicholas, founder

Started RoamMore in Auckland and still answers [email protected] and the WhatsApp line most days. Every guide on this site is reviewed by him before it goes live and checked again when something changes, which is the date you see under each title.

We reply in English or Spanish, in New Zealand hours, and we do not use a bot to answer you.

How we make money

We buy data wholesale and sell it at retail. You pay once for a plan, and nothing recurs unless you choose to top up. There is no subscription, no account fee and no charge for support.

A few pages of this site carry links to partners for airport lounges, transfers and flights. If you book through one we may earn a commission; it never changes the price you pay, and we say so on each of those pages.

Refunds and the fine print

If your eSIM has not been installed, or your phone turns out not to support eSIM, ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. A few small trial plans start counting the moment they are installed rather than when they first connect; their plan details say so before you buy. The full terms, and how we handle your data, are on the terms and privacy page. RoamMore is operated by a New Zealand sole trader.

The guides

Our travel eSIM guides started as real questions from RoamMore travellers: what to do when you land, how much data a trip needs, whether your phone supports eSIM, how to keep your home number. Each one is dated, reviewed, and pulls its prices straight from the catalogue when the site is built, so a figure in a guide is never older than the catalogue itself.

Frequent Roamer

Every eSIM of US$5 or more earns a stamp on your Frequent Roamer card, and a full card takes money off your next one. Sign in to your account to see your stamps, your orders and the data left on an eSIM.

How Frequent Roamer works sets out the three ways to earn a stamp, where to find your card, and what happens when it fills.
