A Dubai or Doha stopover, Jordan with Israel, a Gulf trip through the UAE, Oman and Qatar, or Istanbul and one more country. Our Middle East plans do not all cover the same countries, so the right eSIM depends on your route.

What does one eSIM for the Middle East cost?

Our plans for 30 days, in US dollars:

Plan5GB10GB
Middle East (5)US$20.50US$35.70
Gulf StatesUS$26.20US$51.20
UAE onlyUS$19.90US$34.50
Qatar onlyUS$16.30US$29.30
Jordan onlyUS$18.50US$36.60
Israel onlyUS$11.10US$15.60

Middle East (5) is our lowest priced Middle East list: Qatar, Israel, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, but not the UAE, Jordan, Oman or Turkey. Gulf States covers the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, but not Israel, Jordan or Oman. RoamMore wrote this page and sells these plans; every price comes from our live catalogue and changes when it does.

How a regional eSIM works in the Middle East

A regional eSIM is one eSIM with agreements across several countries. When you cross a border, your phone drops the last network and joins a partner network in the new country. There is nothing to buy at the border and no second QR code to scan.

We sell four Middle East lists. Middle East (5 areas) is the lowest priced, from US$6 (updated 30 Oct 2026), and Gulf States starts from US$7. A Middle East list of 11 areas (Qatar, Israel, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Oman) comes only as 1GB for 7 days or 5GB for 30 days, and costs more. Our dearest, Middle East and North Africa, has 12 areas: the 11 without Azerbaijan and Armenia, plus Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. The exact list for each plan, with the network you will use in each country, is on our Middle East eSIM page and our Gulf States eSIM page.

One regional plan or one per country?

Jordan and IsraelTwo country plansJordan is not on our two lower priced lists

At our current prices, country plans cost less for a two country trip: on either of our two lower priced lists, a 5GB plan for each country comes to less than one 10GB regional plan. A regional plan earns its place on a longer route: one install, one data balance that follows you, no switching lines, and day trips over a border without buying anything else.

Live country prices for other stops: Saudi Arabia from US$5.50, Oman from US$5.50, Bahrain from US$5.40, Kuwait from US$5, Iraq from US$5, Turkey from US$3, Egypt from US$4.80. Add every country on your route to the plan finder and it compares the regional plans with a plan per country for you.

Countries to double check

  • The UAE. Not on our lowest priced Middle East list. It is on Gulf States (Etisalat or Du, 5G) and the 11 area list, or buy a UAE eSIM.
  • Oman. Not on Gulf States or the 5 area list, so a Gulf trip through the UAE, Oman and Qatar needs Gulf States plus an Oman eSIM, or a country plan for each stop. The 11 area list (Omantel 5G in Oman) covers all three, but only up to 5GB for 30 days.
  • Jordan. Not on Gulf States or the 5 area list. For Jordan with Israel, a 5GB Jordan eSIM (US$18.50) and a 5GB Israel plan (US$11.10) together cost less than one 5GB plan on either list that covers both.
  • Turkey. Not on Gulf States or the 5 area list. For Turkey with the UAE, Jordan or Israel, a 5GB plan in each country costs less than one 5GB plan on the 11 area list. See our Turkey eSIM and our unlimited eSIM guide for Turkey.
  • Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. Only on our Middle East and North Africa list, the dearest. We sell an Egypt eSIM on its own.

Dubai and Doha stopovers

A stopover in Dubai or Doha is one country, so a country plan is the answer: a UAE eSIM for Dubai or a Qatar eSIM for Doha. For a stop of a few days, the 3GB plan for 15 days is US$12.30 for the UAE and US$10.60 for Qatar. Our stopover guide covers when airport wifi is enough and how a stopover plan sits beside the plan for the rest of your trip.

If you lose signal after a border

  1. Wait a couple of minutes.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. In the eSIM line settings, turn off automatic network selection and choose the carrier listed for that country on our plan page.
  4. Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp or email [email protected] with the country and what your screen shows.

Our landing day checklist works the same at every border.

How much data for a Middle East trip?

Two weeks of Standard use (maps, social media, photos and video calls) is about 14GB, so a three day stopover needs about 3GB. Our cost and data guide has the full table, and our Middle East (5) list also comes in 20GB for 30 days, at US$71.30.

Questions travellers ask

Does the RoamMore Middle East eSIM cover Dubai and the UAE?

Our lowest priced Middle East list does not. It covers Qatar, Israel, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Our Gulf States plan covers the UAE, on Etisalat or Du, and we also sell a UAE eSIM on its own. The plan finder only offers plans that cover every stop you add.

What eSIM do I need for a Dubai or Doha stopover?

A country plan. Dubai is in the UAE and Doha is in Qatar, so a UAE or Qatar plan covers the whole stop and costs less than a regional plan for the same data.

Is one Middle East eSIM cheaper than one eSIM per country?

Not for two countries at our current prices. On both of our lower priced regional lists, a 5GB country plan for each country costs less than one 10GB regional plan. A regional plan is simpler on a longer route, because you install once and one data balance follows you across every border.

Are Jordan, Oman and Turkey covered?

Not on our two lower priced lists. All three are on our 11 area Middle East list, which comes only as 1GB for 7 days or 5GB for 30 days and costs more. Each also has its own country plan.

Are Israel and Iraq covered?

Yes. Both are on our lowest priced Middle East list, Israel on Cellcom, Pelephone, Hot Mobile or Partner (all 5G) and Iraq on Asia Cell 4G. Iraq is also on our Gulf States plan, and Israel is not.
